Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting and a strong understanding of child development, curriculum implementation, and positive classroom management. This teacher will create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, hands-on learning experiences.
- Build caring, responsive relationships with children and families.
- Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment.
- Observe, document, and assess children’s developmental progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Communicate effectively with families and staff.
- Follow all licensing regulations, program policies, and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an early childhood classroom.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting whole-child development.

Preferred Qualifications:
- An associate's degree or higher in education or a related field.
- CDA
- Experience in an early childhood education setting.
- CPR.
